L’Art Foundation was founded in 1999 by Lamar and Josette Hoke in response to the ever widening educational and digital divide in lower income communities. Their belief was and still is; that when given the proper tools and resources to succeed, kids from disadvantaged backgrounds can achieve just as well as their peers in more affluent communities.
